Our Research Question

After formulating and discussing our ideas, we came up with the following research question:

SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE CLASSROOM - DO TEACHERS ACTIVELY AVOID THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN CLASS BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE RISKS?

We want to investigate this topic because social media plays an immense role in daily life and we asked ourselves the question wether teachers actively avoid using social media in the classroom and why. It seems like a lot of teachers are afraid of taking that step and integrate social media like Instagram into their classes. What are the reasons? Could social media be a possible benefit for student's learning?

RESEARCH METHOD:

We decided on a survey with the help of the website "surveyMonkey.com" to create questions. The data should be collected via Social Media like Instagram or Facebook. We also share the survey with teachers from our internships.
